The following message was shared with parents and carers through tapestry for our Art Exhibition:
Practitioners became aware of the importance to help vulnerable people in society and how we as a community can offer help. We chose “Ealing Soup Kitchen” because it is a charity which offers a complete service for people in need. It provides food, clothes, haircuts and medicine for adult and children.
“How could we help them?” Everybody at Bumble Bees has been involving in creating a beautiful 'Art Exhibition'. Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers have been busy making special creative art on canvas. They’ve discovered different techniques such as painting, sticking, stamping, and so on. Children have been exploring through their senses and using a variety of natural resources.
Some children are helping to arrange the room downstairs for the 'Art Exhibition' by placing the canvases near the Christmas decorations.
Parents are coming to see their children's work and giving an example to their child of how, with a little action, we can change the world and how important it is to help the people that really need it.
All the money collected will be taken to Ealing Soup Kitchen Charity.
Thanks you so much for your kind donations because without your support we couldn't have supported those in need.
The following was shared with parents and carers on Tapestry on the same day:
Today, Samir and the children were searching for worms when they stumbled across something much more exciting!
We have been adding lots of logs around our garden as habitat, encouraging wildlife and fungi.
We had discovered a couple of stag beetles in the previous years which we have logged on the Peoples Tust for Endangered Species Website. https://stagbeetles.ptes.org/take-part-in-the-great-stag-hunt/
Today we found so many Beetle Larva. As you can see in the photos, they are very big! Did you know that Stag Beetles can take up to 7 years to reach beetle stage!
We will be contacting the PTES for confirmation that they are Stag Beetles and we will be making sure that our future beetles remain safe.
We are all really excited about our fantastic find and will keep you updated on their progress.
