Director
In 1997 my journey in professional childcare began, after my own family were growing up, I started my training in Childcare, which developed my passion to working with babies and young children, watching them growing up and developing new skills.
While training I worked in playgroups in the Ealing area, which helped me to gain experience and new skills and confidence to pursue and grow. I always thought the best way to learn anything in life is to start at the bottom and work your way up. Eventually becoming a Manager of local Playgroups as I was working with mainly age range 3 and 4 years old, I wanted to work with younger age range from 6 months up, I became Deputy Manager of a local Day Nursery, Manager of the baby and toddler rooms, were I gained more knowledge and practice in this age group.
With my own experience as a mother to five children, in late 2005 myself and my husband opened Bumble Bees Day Nursery, it was the start of my own journey.
